Saturday morning came EARLY.  I could not believe that the big day for MOH +J was finally here!  After checking my bags 3 times to make sure I had it all, I set out into the 6 am darkness of Jtown for sustenance for a hungry maid team and bride.

The weather was not cooperating.  I gave the clouds a stern talking to, like I’m famous for, but the clouds won.  Jan warned me, as I was driving the bride to all pre-wedding prep stops “BE VERY VERY CAREFUL!”  Pishaw Jan!  We’re good!

After a Dunkin’ Doughnuts, MOH and maid run, we were all assembled and ready to get our hair did.  Coicindentally, because Jan is always right, we almost did crash and die sliding down a major hill into an intersection due to the snow and ice blanketing Jtown that day.  I held it together and we didn’t crash nor die, but it was still scrary…Did I mention there were doughnut holes, mimosas, coffee and bagels?  And doughnut holes?

All us maids took turns getting our hair did.

We sipped our coffee and champange {I take my mimosas straight up, thanks!} and our bride was cool as a cucumber.

We made sure she evened out her tan!

After that was all settled she put on some make up

And started to get her hair done!

Meanwhile, I snuck a peak at the veil and we maids got busy with our make up.

And literally in what seemed like a few seconds, our bff had the prettiest up do.

We all waited anxiously for some veil action.

Hooray!!  Great Job Helen!  You totally rocked it!!!!

Another quick shot and then we were off to get this pretty bride dress.  See that clock on the wall up there?  10 am. Right on time!!

We had a great morning getting ready in Helen’s cozy shop together, relaxing and getting really excited for the big day.  And Hello!  We all look amazing!!
