How Sweet It Is: The Last Few Shots
Please immediately credit any and all photography to John + Kimberly Sanderson unless otherwise noted. Do not repost these pictures for any reason without my express permission. It’s not nice. And you’re nice people. Clearly.
After having our pictures taken with the bridal part at large, John and Kim gave them the AOK to get some water and snacks and meet us out back of the Cathedral at 540. Until then, MB and I had some last photos to be taken outside around the cathedral, which were some of our favs.
Exactly.
I love having those two photographs side by side. Brilliant. From this bench we headed down to the big red doors where we had some one on one bride and groom portraits, which you saw. We also had what appears to be a James Bond moment.
Looking for the perfect place to to do this.
Before the red doors, I declared to Kim that I needed a picture of my veil in the wind. What with it being so long and amazing and all. We tried.
MB, get over here, maybe you can help.
No no! don’t kiss me! we almost had it!!
Ahha! Success! Kisses do help!
After the red doors and the wind in the veil we high tailed it over to the University’s first building. This little shack holds a special place in my heart. After I had been accepted to Pitt, my mom and I went to take a tour. After carousing around all day, we were PARCHED and some how decided that this little shack MUST be a refreshment stand. We stormed right up to it, ingnoring the signs that it was in fact Pitt’s first buidling, a historic landmark, and NOT a lemonade stand. Regardless. We banged on the doors. After a while, someone came by and pointed us to the 7-11. Once the home to a supposed soda stand, the shack is not forever a place of kisses and smiles and love.
After much smooching in front of our drink shack, it was time to find our friends and head over to the chapel. To get married.
Ok, one last smooch.
Look out wedding! Here we come!
